Burton & Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Parade

Greetings Everybody,

Just wanted to let everyone know about the two events we have coming this weekend, and next Monday. First: Burton. It is a Support Event on the schedule. A lot of people are going to be working the gun, and some are going to be going as Infantry. Last count I think we have more people working the gun than Infantry. I'm still trying to make a decision on if I'm going or not. If I do go it will probably be as a private since we do not have enough rifles to form a company. So, the Infantry may have to fall in with another company. Second: Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Parade. The parade is next Monday, and it is a Max Effort Event. It starts at 9:00 AM this year. We are to form up at 8:30 AM behind the old Big Lots Store in the State Road Shopping Center. We are position number 97 out of 126, so we are towards the back of the parade. They will have numbers marked on the pavement where we are supposed to line up at. Please be there at 8:15 AM, so we can inspect weapons. I will be there at 8:00 AM. Also, PLEASE bring a full canteen of water. It is a long march. We are also going to be wearing our Packs, and firing rounds. So, please bring plenty of rounds. Finally: I want to send my condolences and prayers to Mark Hooverman & his family. Corporal Hooverman's father-in-law passed away over the weekend. So, if everyone could keep them in your prayers as they go through this tough time. Well, I hope to see everybody this weekend, and next Monday at the Parade. Take Care.

Very Respectfully,

Brian S. Herchek
