Welcome new companies
The Birney's web site has been revamped and units realigned. I would like to welcome to the Battalion: Capt Paul Baltzer and the boys from the 83rd PVI, Lt Mike Murphy and the boys from the 54th PVI, and Sgt Rob Weaver and the boys from the 7th Wisconsin. Unfortunately, I don't have an email address for Sgt Weaver so if anyone can help me out that would be great. That brings us up to 13 companies. Hoozah!!Also, I would like to announce that Capt Brian Herchek has succeeded me as the commander of the 5th Ohio.
