May reenactments
First I want to thank all of those 2d Battalion folks who came out for the spring drill at Camp Workman in Ravenna, Ohio. It was a great success and the weather was awsome! Those who were there would like to do it again next year. I want to hear from the other units as to where they would like to do the drill in 2007. Camp Workman is a leading favorite!May has two 2d Battalion and Birney's events coming up fast! New Market is May 19-21st and will be a HUGH Birney's activity.
Burton Civil War Days in... Burton, OH of course. May 26-28. This is a really nice event and it is my hope that a Birney's presence will improve the Union efforts there.
