Battalion Drill Good to Go

Well boys. Looks like this is going to be a perfect weekend for the Battalion Drill. Sunny and in the mid 60s.

I will be on site Friday afternoon around 3 pm. We are expecting about 30 folks to fall in this weekend. Don't forget the tavern will be serving food so all you need to bring anything is a fist full of dollars.

Another Company comes into the 2d

I would like to offer a warm 2d Battalion welcome to the members of the 36th OVI and their Captain, Josh Jasinski. Many members are serving in Iraq and we will see them here and there throughout the year.

Battalion numbers for May

Hi all. Maj Anderson is going to be sending out a request to get some initial numbers for 2d Battalion participation at New Market and the Burton Civil War Days.

Birney's Division will have a HUGH representation at New Market and Burton is right here in Ohio, so let's show those U.S. Vs the power of our numbers!!

Welcome 37th

I would like to welcome Lt Brian Plescher and the boys of the 37th Ohio Volunteer Infantry to Birney's Division and the ever growing 2d Battalion (now 15 companies strong). Lt Plescher and his folks come out of Northwestern Ohio.
